I feel equally comfortable standing and speaking casually, barefooted in the ocean, as I do addressing a venue full of people - ensuring the couple and all guests are at ease no matter the location. Catering for people from different cultures and walks of life is always a privilege and it is a joy to bring everyone together on these special occasions.

There is no better place to celebrate the joining of a couple than the beautiful Taranaki and as a country girl at heart I am in awe of our beautiful province and the many hidden sanctuaries here. I know that we are indeed blessed for a choice of ideal venues for special functions.

Winter Wedding Packages

As you know there are only a limited number of Saturdays during the traditional wedding season of November to March, but there are another 34 weekends outside these dates. I have teamed up with local businesses to provide you with a choice of three meaningful packages for your winter wedding.

Manu Haven Wedding Package

You're searching for the ideal venue for a memorable intimate ceremony to seal your love? I'm excited to offer my beautifully landscaped garden as a wedding venue.

Gather together with your guests in the paved courtyard featuring stunning Jo May Design Art.

Meander down the paved pathway to the secluded private subtropical garden for your romantic meaningful ceremony, accompanied by birdsong.

Enjoy a complimentary food platter with refreshments on the large deck overlooking the bush.

Cost:

Be one of the first six couples to book this package and pay $250 deposit to secure the special price of $650.

Optional extras:

Professional photos to capture the fun on your special day with Sandra Antill Photography, at the special price of $50 per photograph (minimum of five photos).

Registry Style at Manu Haven

A registry style wedding is a no frills ceremony. As a registered Registry Celebrant, I can offer you a legal ceremony with a set script, and you can express personal promises to each other and exchange rings, if you wish.

Enjoy my beautifully landscaped garden for up to 30 minutes, for up to seven guests plus the wedding couple and me as the celebrant or at a venue of your choice within the New Plymouth District area.

Registry weddings are weekdays only at flexible times.

Legalities

Your marriage licence is valid for three months and can take up to one week to be processed. Get a marriage licence online.. This can then be emailed to me for printing.

The Government fee for a Registry ceremony is $90, payable online on the day of the ceremony or prior.
